The Problem

A leading investment management firm operating across multiple entities and currencies had outgrown Microsoft Dynamics SL after nearly three decades. Their historical AP data was locked in a legacy system, inaccessible for day-to-day operations, and their Concur expense platform was entirely disconnected from their general ledger.

The Solution

HGC migrated 27 years of financial data into Acumatica, preserving full transaction history across Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets. We built a custom Generic Inquiry that surfaces both historical AP transactions and live bills in a single unified view — eliminating the need to cross-reference legacy reports. The engagement also included a full Concur-to-Acumatica integration for automated bill and expense processing, and a complete UK VAT tax configuration for their international entity.
